Bhutan Day 5 - Bumthang

The morning breeze and the clean air always make my day. After breakfast, we will be heading off to Bumthang,  the central part of Bhutan. Our breakfast this morning is very much western-style. There's waffles, toasted bread, the waffles has a different texture from the one that I normally had. It's much fluffy and non sticky to the teeth. The round solid yellow block which resemble egg tart is actually butter! Along the way to Bumthang, we went to Trongsa Dzong. This Dzong was laid in the 16th century by Pema Lingpa and flourished during the 17th century under Shabdrung Ngwang Namgyal.  Did you see the monk  on the right with a whip? He will lash the whip hard on the floor. This is to signal to the others that it is time to for lesson! I really like this posting, but too bad, there's no LIKE button on this board.
